Cremona International Music Academy participants are selected by audition. Applicants may audition by submitting an electronic recording performing two contrasting works (fast and slow) of applicant’s choice.

Returning students and applicants currently studying with the faculty of the Academy will be accepted to study at the Academy at faculty recommendation without formal audition. They are, however, required to submit their recordings for chamber music and ensemble placement.

Application must include:

  • Complete electronic application form (via email or the website)
  • Copy of the applicant’s passport
  • Electronic recording (e.g. YouTube, Dropbox, etc.) of two contrasting works
  • Non-refundable application fee (see below)

Candidates applying for Cremona Strings and Piano Competitions do not need to submit audition recording. Candidate’s recording for the Preliminary Round of the Competition will be used for audition and ensemble placement purposes.
